Tuesdays 9.00am - 12 noon Thursdays 1.30 – 5.00pm Patients are seen by the midwife at the clinics by appointment and also by the doctors during surgery hours. Baby Clinic
We do not hold a specific baby clinic and parents with children who require immunisations, periodic checks or who have specific problems are invited to make an appointment, through reception, with either the practice nurse, in the case of immunisations, or their usual GP.
Diabetic And Heart Disease Clinic
Kate, our specialist chronic disease nurse, runs our clinic and she invites attendance on a regular basis.
Well Woman Clinic
Women’s health issues, including postnatal checks, are dealt with by all doctors during normal surgery hours but arrangements may always be made with one of our lady GPs if this is preferred. Cervical smears are dealt with by our practice nurses.
Minor Surgery
Some of our doctors will perform minor surgical operations eg removal of warts, skin tags, cysts and moles, joint injections etc, by appointment, as and when time is available.
Non-NHS Examinations
The doctors are happy to carry out medicals, eg insurance and driving licence, by appointment during normal surgery hours. Please telephone the surgery for an appointment when you will be advised of the charge which will be made.
Counselling
A private and limited NHS service is available. Please ask a doctor for further details.
Travel Immunisation/Vaccinations
Please make an appointment at least eight weeks prior to your holiday to ensure adequate cover. A charge will be made for certain immunisations and vaccinations which are not covered by the NHS. A list of these charges is held at reception.
Flu Vaccination
An influenza vaccination is particularly recommended for patients with heart, lung or kidney disease, diabetes and residents of nursing and rest homes.
