How do I... Make An Appointment?
For routine and non-urgent matters please make an appointment to see one of the doctors during normal surgery hours. You may see the doctor to whom you are allocated or another doctor if you prefer. Appointments are normally at 10-minute intervals. If you feel you need longer, or if more than one member of a family is to be seen, please request a double appointment when booking. If you cannot keep your appointment please let the surgery know. Appointments can be booked up to six weeks in advance. content here...
How do I... Obtain A Home Visit?
The doctors will visit only if there is an emergency or if you are too ill to visit the surgery. Please be prepared to explain to the receptionist why a visit is required so that the doctors may visit the most urgent patients first. Usually your own doctor will visit, but if he or she is on holiday or has a day off, another doctor may visit. If the request is for a routine visit, please let the receptionist know so that she can arrange a convenient day for the doctor to call. Requests for a home visit should be made before 12 noon. How do I... Obtain Test Results?
The doctor or nurse will tell you how long they expect the test results will take to reach the surgery when the test is performed. Please telephone the surgery after 11.00am and before 4.00pm for your results. |
